Australia Post Christmas 2025 Cut-Off Dates for Parcel and Express Deliveries

Australia Post has released its 2025 recommended lodgement dates to help ensure your parcels arrive in time for Christmas Day. Whether you’re sending gifts across town or interstate, using Standard Parcel Post, Express Post, or StarTrack services, knowing these cut-off dates will help you avoid delivery delays and keep your customers happy this holiday season.

Australia Post recommends lodgement by the following dates for delivery by Christmas (*excludes items sent to and from Perth, Darwin, and Hobart)

Standard Parcel Post	Monday 22 December for same state deliveries and Friday 19 December for interstate deliveries**
Express Post	Tuesday 23 December
StarTrack Road Express	Tuesday 23 December for same state deliveries
StarTrack Premium	Tuesday 23 December

* Excludes items sent to and from Perth, Darwin and Hobart. To be delivered by Christmas, items sent to or from these locations with Parcel Post and Express Post need to be lodged by 12 December and 22 December, respectively.

 **For all items collected by one of Australia Post's trucks or vans and taken directly to the processing facility. For Parcel Post items lodged over the counter, please lodge by 2:30 pm.
